The Pangolin Club T&Cs
1. About the Pangolin Club
The Pangolin Club is an exclusive travel club that consists of a combination of Pangolin Collection NFT holders and homeowners.
The Pangolin Club is managed by Euphoric Leisure (Pty) Ltd, Reg. No. 2017/522589/07. Euphoric Leisure (Pty) Ltd, herein referred to as EL, through its affiliation with various homeowners and operators in South Africa and abroad, has secured preferential member rates to an array of properties and premium destinations.
EL provides Pangolin Club members, herein referred to as members, with access to a variety of carefully selected local and international destinations at exclusive member rates and a range of other exclusive benefits, including international exchanges through The Registry Collection (refer to 2.6), and additional perks & benefits to be added in the future.
The Pangolin Club is governed by these terms and conditions.
2. Reservation Procedures
All member bookings are subject to the member still owning their Pangolin Collection NFT, or having a property listed in the Pangolin Collection, at the time of booking up until the check-out date. Should a member sell their NFT, or have their property delisted from the Pangolin Collection, prior to check-in, then their member benefit will not apply, and should the member fail to pay the balance of the adjusted booking price, then EL reserves the right to cancel the booking without a refund.
All reservations are administered through EL and are subject to the following terms:
2.1 Member Rates
Members can book unlimited 7 consecutive night stays, throughout the Pangolin Collection, at 50% off the Published Rate, outside of specified blackout dates according to the Booking Calendar (refer to 2.3).

Additional Bookings: Members are able to make additional bookings throughout the Pangolin Collection for shorter stays (less than 7 nights), including during blackout dates, at 20% off the published rate.
Member rates apply to Published Rates, not to Promotional Rates. Promotional rates refer to any rates that have already have been discounted.
EL reserves the right to remove, change or replace any of the Pangolin Collection properties to ensure a particular standard and quality is maintained throughout the collection.
2.2 Member Booking Process
Members will use the Pangolin Collection website to make their bookings or they may make bookings through their dedicated member liaison.
Members are issued unique member codes, which they must apply upon checkout to receive their exclusive member rates.
This booking method is subject to change should a better method come into place.
EL will facilitate direct member bookings off the platform if that is desired.

2.3 Booking Calendar

EL reserves the right to amend and update the Booking Calendar so that it accurately corresponds with the relevant peak periods every year.
2.4 Blackout Dates
Blackout Dates are dates when members' 50% off rates are not available. These dates typically fall on or around major holidays (i.e. Easter or Christmas) or other peak travel seasons, as illustrated in the annually published Booking Calendar. Bear in mind that different destinations may have different Blackout Dates.
However, members receive 20% off during these blackout dates and are able to do international exchanges through The Registry Collection during blackout dates, subject to availability.
2.5 Booking Rights
Members can only make reservations themselves and may not allow other people to utilise their member perks & benefits.
All member rates are restricted to bookings whereby the member is a guest. i.e. a member may not utilise their member benefit to facilitate bookings for other family members or guests.
Members are typically able to make reservations 9-12 months in advance, however, some properties may have shorter or longer booking windows.
Check-in and check-out times may vary per property. Members must read and comply with the Rental T&Cs of the property they book. Please refer to the Rental T&Cs when making the booking.
2.6 International Exchanges Through The Registry Collection
EL has affiliated with The Registry Collection, herein referred to as TRC, to offer members exclusive access to their high-end portfolio of esteemed local and international destinations.
Members are able to exchange weeks in certain Pangolin Collection properties (the exchange process is facilitated by EL) and travel anywhere within TRC, which comprises of 500+ premium properties, hotels and resorts worldwide.
Costs associated with TRC are depicted below and are payable by members upon the exchange of their week/s.
Exchange Fees (2023):
All exchanges are subject to availability and it is therefore recommended that members submit international exchange requests well in advance of when they plan to travel to avoid disappointment.
3. NFT Purchase and Payment Policies
3.1 NFT Purchase
Membership to the Pangolin Club is available to Pangolin Collection homeowners and those that own 1 of the 111 Pangolin Collection NFTs. In order to join the Pangolin Club one must either purchase an NFT during the private sale, the public mint or from an existing member through an NFT marketplace such as OpenSea. Note that there are only 111 Pangolin Collection NFTs.
3.2 Security Deposits & Damage Waivers
A refundable security deposit or non-refundable damage waiver may be charged per booking. Members must check the damage deposit procedure per property prior to booking to understand the requirements.
3.3 Violation of Member T&Cs or the Code of Conduct of the Pangolin Club
Should a member violate the T&Cs or the code of conduct of the Pangolin Club, EL reserves the right to call a disciplinary hearing and must invite 3 other members to vote on the matter. Should the hearing committee decide to dismiss the infringing member from the Pangolin Club, their infringing member's perks & benefits will be suspended effectively immediately and they will be required to list their NFT for sale.
3.4 Non-Compliance with the Rental T&Cs
Any transgression of the Rental T&Cs is considered a major offence and will be dealt with accordingly. Failure to comply with any of the relevant Rental T&Cs may result in the member perks & benefits being suspended and any future bookings cancelled pending a formal decision from a disciplinary hearing consisting of 3 other members.
This condition will hold, until such a stage that the issue can be deemed resolved by the relevant disciplinary committee. In this event their perks & benefits will be reinstated.
4. Acceptance of the membership
All rights and privileges referred to in this document are dependent on a member's ownership of a Pangolin Collection NFT or a property listed in the Pangolin Collection.

The purchase of a Pangolin Collection NFT, or the listing of a property in the Pangolin Collection, confirms the member's acceptance of the associated conditions and contents.
