Golf
Zimbali is home to a magnificent 5-star, 18-hole golf course. Designed by former British Open and South Africa PGA Champion Tom Weiskopf, this 72 par golf course is a dreamy blend of challenge and charm, so it's no surprise that it is one of South Africa’s top rated courses desired by many avid golfers worldwide.
There is ‘Zimbali for Junior Golfers’ where golf lessons are available for youngsters. To round out one’s golfing experience at Zimbali, one can enjoy the pristine driving range, putting greens, pro-shop and half-way house.
Nature Trails
Zimbali offers multiple short, but rich nature trails within the estate. Zimbali’s coastal forest habitat that comprises eight different vegetation types is a treat on eyes and works wonders on the soul.

BushBuck Club
The family vibe is high at the BushBuck Club with something for everyone, including the following activities:

The BushBuck Club has its own restaurant that offers lovely light meals, coffee and drinks.
Swimming Pools
There are 7 different pool facilities in Zimbali, allowing families to change up their swimming pursuits based on their mood and desired activities for the day. The list below highlights the main features of each pool facility:
Waterslides
Two water slides can be found at the BushBuck Club.
Training Pool
A training pool with floor lanes can be found at Valley of the Pools for those avid young swimmers training for an event
Bali Style
If the family is keen on a sophisticated experience in a fun setting, the Zimbali Beach Club is a great place and provides comfy seating on loungers and lounge pods. There is often lots of activity at the Zimbali Beach Club, so the kids are likely to play for hours with new found friends.
Just Swimming
If you’re not looking for anything in particular, the Zimbali Capital Hotel offers 4 swimming pools and the Zimbali Lodge has a gorgeous rim flow swimming pool and a great African feel overlooking the ocean.
Zimbali Golf Club
For the young budding golfers, the Zimbali Golf Club offers junior golf lessons (booking is essential). Also make use of the practice putting greens and the driving range.
Animal and Bird Watching
Zimbali is home to about 34 mammals and 220 bird species, so you're nearly guaranteed to see a handful of these beautiful creatures while out and about on the estate. Animal life includes blue duiker, bush buck, vervet monkey, bushbaby, banded mongoose and wild pig.
Great bird sightings are likely to occur at one of Zimbali’ natural springlakes which provide the perfect sanctuary for a variety of birds. If you love birds, be sure to bring your binoculars.
Jogging
Get those takkies on and head out for a jog around the estate. Gentle hills and beautiful surroundings make for an enjoyable sweat session that can be followed by a dip in one of the resort pools or a meditation session on the beach watching the sunrise. What bliss!

Volleyball
While Zimbali’s private beach is non-swimming, two beach volleyball courts will provide many hours of entertainment, with ambient shorebreakers as your backdrop. Bring your own volleyball, your best game and a great attitude and you’ll be sorted!
