Valley of the Pools
One of Zimbali’s most renowned facilities is the Valley of the Pools. Providing a collection of pools on the estate’s private beachfront. Including a training pool with floor lanes as well as a heated pool. Valley of the Pools offers lots of leisure seating on a lower and upstairs wooden deck overlooking the ocean, which is particularly amazing to watch at sunrise. Pool loungers are scattered around the pools, ideal for lazy days in the sun with a cold beverage in hand. Guests can enjoy a meal and drinks at the Valley of the Pools Restaurant which offers a variety of options for breakfast, lunch, early dinner and sundowners. Zimbali Private Beach
Zimbali enjoys its own 3km expanse of private beach on a pristine stretch of the Indian Ocean coastline. It’s extremely important to note that the Zimbali beach is unprotected and strictly non-swimming due to a strong riptide. Having said this, the beach is ideal for long walks and two volleyball courts can be used for fun afternoons in the sun (don’t forget to bring your own ball). The Zimbali beach is accessible directly from the Valley of the Pools, the BushBuck Club and the Capital Hotel. There are many swimming beaches within a couple minutes drive of Zimbali
BushBuck Club
Otherwise known as the BBC, the BushBuck Club is an awesome family entertainment venue, offering a restaurant, kids playground, mini kids soccer field, a swimming pool with water slides and access to the Zimbali beach. The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and early dinners. Tennis courts are accessible by the BBC.
Tennis Courts at Zimbali
Zimbali boasts 6 floodlit tennis courts that guests are able to make use of during their holiday. Four are located next to the BushBuck Club which is ideal if some of the family want to chill over a few drinks and a light meal, while the others sweat it out on the court. The other two are located opposite the Zimbali Country Club. Guests must bring their own tennis rackets and balls.
Squash Courts at Zimbali
There are 2 squash courts located at the BushBuck Club if one is looking for a high pace session on the courts, ideal to either wind down the day or get it started on the right note. Guests must bring their own tennis rackets and balls.
Zimbali Beach Club
Described as “an oasis of tropical tranquillity & good vibes”, Zimbali Beach Club offers a restaurant, pool and direct beach access near The Capital Zimbali. They run plenty of events throughout the year, so we recommend seeing what may be happening at the Beach Club before your stay at Zimbali.
Zimbali Capital Hotel
The Capital Zimbali Hotel offers a variety of facilities and restaurants available to holiday home guests. Use to these facilities may incur a charge during high season and is based on a first come first served basis, with hotel guests having preferential access.

The Copper Restaurant and Bar
This is the hotel's main restaurant with an extensive menu and open for breakfast, dinner and lunch.
FIREROOM SUSHI AND GRILL
Popular restaurant chain FIREROOM SUSHI AND GRILL is located at The Capital Zimbali Hotel right out front the main hotel pool, and is an experience that comes highly recommended if you enjoy a fusion of flavors and sophisticated dining experience. Adventurous sushi lovers must try their signature SUSHI ON FIRE™.
Mangwanani Signature Spa
The first of its kind, resort-style spa, of the well known Mangwanani brand, is located at The Capital Zimbali Hotel, offering a range of indulgent treatments in an idyllic setting.
Zimbali Capital Swimming Pools
If you fancy something different to the Valley of the Pools and the BushBuck Club, the hotel has 4 swimming pools which guests of the estate are able to use on a first come first served basis. Charges may apply during busy seasons.
Zimbali Lodge
Nestled perfectly in Zimbali’s coastal forest with magnificent ocean views, the Zimbali Lodge is ready to welcome guests to a unique African experience through its thoughtful decor and ambiance. Guests can enjoy a meal at the Delicacy restaurant, which is open for light lunches, coffee and mouth watering treats, as well as a couple hearty drinks at the Trophy Bar. The Zimbali Lodge has its own rim flow swimming pool with elevated views of the forest, golf course and Indian Ocean beyond. If you’re looking to ignite the soul, a trip to Zimbali Lodge is recommended.
